Art Technology T1 (so far...)

For Art Technology this term, we are learning about perspectives. We have learned that perspectives can be shown by colour, size and height, lines of perspective, layers, and clarity.

*Term 1* Self-portraits - Room 8

This term, Room 8 have been learning how to sketch realistic self-portraits. We started first by blocking in accurate dimensions, then added detail following scaffolding with our Art teacher.

Art Technology, Terms One and Two, 2013

In Terms One and Two in 2013, 15 year 7/8 students worked together to create a piece of artwork to be 'beautify' the entrance to Tamaki Primary School.

After a lot of brainstorming and discussion, they decided to include symbols of their community, school and home together in murals to complete their technology brief.

Once these murals were completed, the whole school worked together to create a ceremony to bless the murals and present them to the principal, Ms Corinne Hansell. Here are some pictures from the ceremony.
