Popcorn Art in Room 3

Today Room 3 were learning about how to integrate writing and art. We were learning about adjectives and to learn this, we used POPCORN!

We had so much fun making popcorn adjective poems! Here's one example from Troy...

My Popcorn Sheep (By Troy)

Cloudy, bushy, white.

Pop!

Fluffy, yellow, soft.

It looks like a sheep!

Art Technology T1 (so far...)

For Art Technology this term, we are learning about perspectives. We have learned that perspectives can be shown by colour, size and height, lines of perspective, layers, and clarity. 

Here is our first piece of artwork. See how we use our five strategies to show perspective!

 

*Term 1* Self-portraits - Room 8

This term, Room 8 have been learning how to sketch realistic self-portraits. We started first by blocking in accurate dimensions, then added detail following scaffolding with our Art teacher.
